Watermelon Birthday Card

I grew watermelons in 2020, and most of them were eaten by a backyard opossum (or was it a melon monster?).  The creature left behind one beautiful specimen, and my husband was excited to devour it.  It turned out to be ghostly white inside and a little bit (ok, extremely) tasteless.  Chupa cried the sad tears of someone who does not toil in the garden, and I ate some of it for fun.
